Life in the country
An intimate country resort, La Posta di Confine has just two rooms and three apartments, located in two carefully restored country houses.
Ideal for a family or a couple looking for additional space and privacy, the resort's two and three room apartments have a fully equipped kitchen and open out directly on to the garden.
All the best farm stays in Italy have a panoramic swimming pool where to relax as you enjoy the scenery and soak up the sun... a pool just like the one at La Posta di Confine!
Decorated in soft shades of buttercup and lavender, the farm stay's bedrooms have all the features of Umbria's traditional rural homes, including antique furniture, time worn terracotta floor tiles and exposed ceiling beams.
Umbria's green gold
For centuries the gently undulating countryside surrounding Lake Trasimeno, has provided the perfect terrain for the cultivation of olives.
Today, as in years past, the Dolce Agogia olives grown in La Posta di Confine's olive groves is used to produce one of Italy's finest extra virgin (and certified organic) olive oils.
During your stay, make sure you take part in one of the oil tastings regularly hosted on the farm or, if you want to find out how Umbria's green gold is used in the region's delicious cuisine, enroll for one of La Posta di Confine's entertaining, hands-on cooking classes
