Umbrian perfection
Three reasons why you'll love it here
- The peace of the glorious Umbrian countryside
- The view of Orvieto from the living room
- The beautiful grounds, with swimming pool and lake
The very essence of Umbria, Villa La Sorgente combines the elegance of the region's art cities, the charm of its ancient medieval villages, and the silence of its glorious rolling countryside, to perfection.
La Sorgente is accessed via a long, private driveway which winds its way through ancient woods to the villa's beautifully-kept gardens and impressive, 19th century facade.
Luxury with a view of Orvieto
The villa's main sitting room, decorated with antiques, oil paintings, and luxurious Persian carpets, has large picture windows through which enchanting views of the nearby city of Orvieto can be seen.
From the sitting room, French doors open out on to the large terrace, furnished for al fresco dining. Guests who enjoy cooking will love the villa's well equipped country kitchen.
If you'd rather somebody else do the cooking, request the services of a personal chef and relax while he prepares you a feast of Umbrian treats!
A week to remember
Villa Sorgente has three spacious double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and decorated with a pleasing combination of antiques and romantic, rustic furnishings typical of Umbria's traditional country homes.
Additional accommodation is available in two guest annexes, one of which overlooking the villa's lake.
A beautiful holiday home, in the summer the villa is available for a minimum stay of one week. In the winter, you can rent the villa just for the weekend.
Swan lake
Along a path lined with fragrant lavender bushes and antique roses, guests reach the villa's swimming pool: the perfect place in which to laze away the day, soaking up the sun on the elegant chaise longue or reading a good book in the shade of the gazebo, before heading off to the lake, where to observe the resident swans and admire the sunset in the company of a glass of Orvieto's excellent white wine.
