Occupying a finely restored patrician town house, dating back to the 19th century, today's 5 star luxury hotel conserves all of the building's original aristocratic opulence, offering a magnificent display of antique golden boiseries, rich brocade, highly polished marble, and ornate stucco work.
If the huge Murano glass chandelier hanging in the hall looks familiar - it is: Luchino Visconti used it in the famous ballroom scene in his "The Leopard"(1963)!
