The estate has a history that stretches across centuries but today can be traced back the Il Cicalino farm, founded in 1925 by the Vecchioni family from Pisa. It was then that the modern Tenuta Il Cicalino began to take form, with a wine and extra-virgin olive oil production that continues to this day and can be sampled in the estate's prestigious restaurant.

Guests at Tenuta Il Cicalino can relax in one of the four outdoor pools surrounded by the rolling Tuscan hills, as well as a covered and heated pool that is perfect for when the temperature drops. The outdoor pools are scattered throughout the estate and are quick and easy to reach from the guest farmhouses. They are all surrounded by lush countryside and furnished with loungers and sun umbrellas. The covered pool is in the same building as the reception area and has showers and a changing room for guests' convenience.

Treat yourself to an extra touch of peaceful indulgence in the Il Cicalino spa, located in the heart of the estate and boasting two Finnish saunas for six guests, as well as a unique infrared sauna for those who have low blood pressure or circulatory issues as the temperature never exceeds 60° C. If you want to learn how to cook the authentic dishes of Tuscany cuisine, then try the cooking course "Il Cicalino". This is a modular course (from EUR 90 per person) divided in three-hour shifts (from 10am to 1 pm) for maximum 8 people. The 4 modules (each with 3 included recipes) will focus on: Tuscan Cuisine; Soups; Dry Pasta; Egg Pasta.
