Cisternino: introduction
On the high plains of the Murge, on the border of the province of Taranto, one finds Cisternino, an enchanting medieval village much admired by Angelo Semeraro. Cisternino is surrounded by fertile fields of Olive groves and vineyards, some of the most abundant in Puglia
Its historic center is characterized by its architecture of the 16th and 17th centuries. Visitors will undoubtedly be struck by the predominance of white buildings.
